ANNIE BRADFORD

Growing up on a lake in western Michigan, gave Annie plenty of space to let her imagination wander. She left home at seventeen to study creative writing at the arts boarding school, Interlochen Arts Academy. After graduating, she headed to The Hartt School, where she studied acting and graduated magna cum laude.

At the end of college, she was accepted into the Tisch MFA program for playwriting, but opted to move to New York City instead and avoid further student debt. It was the right move, because in 2013 her play (which she also directed), “The Prodigal”, premiered at the Cabrini Rep Theatre in NYC. Her first short film followed in 2015, “The White Slippers”, which premiered at the Sedona International Film Festival.

In 2012 and 2013 she was selected as a finalist for the Sundance Screenwriting Lab and in 2013 for the Sundance/Sloan Commissioning Grant.

In 2016, an episodic series she created was selected as a finalist for the Sundance/YouTube New Voices Lab, which opened up new writing opportunities for her.

After moving to Austin, TX in 2016 she made a few more short films, then jumped into production design and has worked with artists Lukas Nelson and Spoon, and brands such as Subway, ASICS, Instagram, META, Indeed, and Whataburger.

Her favorite outfit on any set is a good jumpsuit and she rarely goes a day without wearing color. She loves bringing ideas to life and ending the day with an ice cream sundae!

Helping brands bring their products and unique POV to life drives her passion and creativity, in addition to the many personal projects she has in the works. Follow her along on Instgram to stay in the loop! Or if you prefer email, you can reach her here: hello@anniebradford.com. :)
