Q & A

With Annie

FAVORITE PLACE
ON EARTH?

AB: On the road out West and by the ocean. I love a good adventure!

ANY SECRET
TALENTS?

AB: I’ve got a knack for picking up musical instruments. When I was growing up I played clarinet, tenor saxophone, and piano. I love ukulele, and am a pretty decent harmonica player!

FAVORITE FOOD?

AB: Ice cream!

FAVORITE MOVIE?

AB: Arggh! That’s so hard. I can do a top 5! In no particular order: Holiday, Wizard of Oz, Hud, Sunset Boulevard, Mrs. Doubtfire!

FAVORITE WAY TO SPEND THE DAY?

AB: I love being outdoors. My favorite spot in Austin is Barton Springs. An early morning swim, followed by breakfast tacos, then meeting up with friends later to play putt-putt golf is pretty wonderful.

WHAT’S YOUR GO-TO KARAOKE SONG?

AB: Basically any ABBA song.

“I specialize in bringing ideas to life.”

DIRECTOR’S

STATEMENT

It all starts with story.

Annie searches for the root of the story, whether it’s in a brand, product, or film, and uses her rare set of skills that span across acting, production design, stop motion, and photography to bring it to life.

With her unique eye, she has a knack for crafting compelling stories that use color, strong design, and great humanity to connect to audiences of all ages.

This skillset that she’s developed over the last decade allows her to see a project or production from multiple angles, and craft something meaningful and relatable.
